The following provides a simple overview of what happens to your personal data when you access our website. Personal data comprises any data with which you can be personally identified. 

We will treat your personal data confidential in accordance with the statutory data protection rules and this data privacy statement. To some extent, the provision of this website or the processing of your data requires the use of external service providers. These service providers have been carefully selected by us and are obliged to comply with the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Please note that the transmission of data on the internet (e.g., in case of email communication) may be vulnerable to security breaches. Complete protection of data from third-party access is not possible.

 

1.2. Data collection on our website

Who is responsible for collecting data on this website?

The controller according to Article 4 EU-GDPR is HC Alignment Consulting GmbH whose contact data you will find in the legal notice of this website. Webhosting was entrusted with an external service provider, hereinafter referred to as the "Webhoster". This website uses no online forms, social media plug-ins or analysis tools and has no online shop.

 

What data do we collect? How do we process your data?

When accessing our website for informational purposes only, i.e. when you do not transmit any other information to us, our automated system will only store the personal data your browser communicates to the Webhoster's server. These data are primarily technical data. The collection of these data in the Webhoster's log files happens automatically as soon as you enter our website and include the IP address of the computer accessing the website (max. storage time of 7 days for identification of and defence against attacks followed by deletion or nonymisation/pseudonymisation, the browser type, the previously visited website, your system configuration, the date and time data. Art. 6 (1) point f GDPR provides the legal basis for the temporary storage of data and log files.

By entering your telephone number, address and info email address you can establish contact with us. Consequently, we will then also collect the data you voluntarily provide, e.g. by sending them to our contact email address. The legal basis for the processing of these data is set forth in Art. 6 (1) point b GDPR which provides for data processing in order to fulfil a contract or pre-contractual activities.

 

How do we use your data?

We use the data you provide when contacting us to process your enquiry. Whenever you contact us the data communicated by you (your email address, your name - if given, and your telephone number) will be stored to answer your queries. We will delete all data accumulating at this stage when storage is not required any more.

The data stored automatically in the Webhoster's log files are collected to ensure the proper and flawless functioning of the website. The Webhoster's deletion periods correspond to the legal standards. We do not retrieve or use any of these data and log files for further analysis (e.g. marketing
purposes).

What rights do you have regarding your data?

You have the following rights with respect to your personal data:
- right to information on the origin, recipient and purpose of the storage of the personal data (Art. 15 GDPR)
- right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR) and to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR) 
- right to object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR)
- right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
